SUMMARY:Victoria Urban Village – Virtual Discussion
DESCRIPTION:Wondering about the affordability of cohousing – for you or for others? As we take steps to planning our future\, Victoria Urban Village’s Core Group is researching out-of-the-box solutions communities have used to extend the cohousing opportunity to folks with more moderate budgets. \nThis will not be the definitive deep-dive required for decision making but rather an exploration and discussion of some alternate visions\, and hopefully some brainstorming about what might work for us in Victoria. \nLet’s get to know each other better while discussing this important topic. Bring your open mind\, creativity\, and willingness to share. We look forward to meeting you and hearing your input. \nSaturday\, April 17\, 2021 10:30am-12:00pm PST Via Zoom\nTo attend\, please send an RSVP with ‘April 17′ in the subject line to:\nvictoriaurbanvillage@gmail.com \nA link to the zoom meeting will be sent to you a day before the meeting.

SUMMARY:National Cohousing Open House Day
DESCRIPTION:SEEKERS: Are you interested to learn more about cohousing? Are you are looking for a community in a particular part of the US? \nNational Cohousing Open House Day is a fantastic opportunity to visit them! Some communities are offering LIVE EVENTS\, please see community specific covid precautions. Others are offering VIRTUAL EVENTS\, says one attendee of last year’s open house day “I took full advantage of the move to zoom and visited eight communities in one day; this year\, I am helping to host … “ \nCOMMUNITIES: An Open House is a great way for a community to share about their specific community\, what makes them unique and what cohousing life is like. We encourage INDIVIDUAL COMMUNITIES to host a virtual meet and greet\, post a tour video\, give tours of your property or host an outdoor gathering. Multiple Communities representing a REGIONAL GROUP may want to host an online panel discussion or a introduction to cohousing talk at a public venue \nTo REGISTER your community as participating for this day\, click here. Note that we review entries and batch update so new/edited listings won’t appear instantly. If you see something which needs correcting\, please let 2021 Coordinators\, Coho/US volunteers Neil and Raines – know. \nEVERYONE: We’re excited to announce a National Cohousing Open House Day virtual Wrap Up\, Celebration and Introductions to some of our our Strategic Partners and organizations with similar missions. We hope that you all will join our NATIONAL COMMUNITY OF COMMUNITIES at this ZOOM link on April 24th at 4pm Pacific / 7pm Eastern.
