Redside Dace Cohousing at Mount Pleasant Commons

Brampton, Ontario – Now Selling

Own your home.  Know your neighbours.

Sales are now open for Redside Dace Cohousing, an affordable, multigenerational community where you own a private home and share daily life with neighbours who choose connection.

If you value your independence but want more than a nod in the hallway, this is for you: shared meals when you want them, a hand when you need it, and privacy whenever you close your door.

Cohousing Options Canada and our non-profit partner, Home Opportunities, are building 39 homes within Mount Pleasant Commons, a new 136-home neighbourhood. Half of the homes are reserved for qualifying households earning about $35,000 to $80,000 a year, with Home Opportunities’ down payment support helping make ownership possible.

Every household has its own complete home. Together, members share more than 2,600 sq ft of accessible common space, including a common room with a full kitchen, a kids’ playroom and an outdoor BBQ area, all designed for a healthy, joyful and sustainable community life.

You’ll find Redside Dace at 110-200 Varsity Drive in southwest Brampton, surrounded by parks, trails and greenery in the established Mount Pleasant community, close to the Go Station.

Home Opportunities

Our development partner Home Opportunities non-profit was founded on the principal that everyone deserves the opportunity to own a home.  They recognize the importance of housing as a first step to financial strength. Their innovative model cuts both initial and monthly costs involved with being a homeowner, opening the opportunity to more families and individuals.  Together we are making homeownership in cohousing communities available to everyone.
